Mission Statement

At Kisulo Mukasa Institute students will receive education to improve their lives and uplift community standards, always putting God first in everything we do.

Students master courses that are practical and hands-on. KMI graduate can compete in the job market not only in Uganda but anywhere in the world.

Major or Course: Course descriptions in course catalog may use the word "major" on a diploma course — for instance Accountancy major — while for certificate studies, "course" is always used.

Quarter Academic Calendar: Three Quarters || Three Months

KMI students follow the quarter system. Studies are for approximately 3 months each quarter. There are three quarters each academic year.

Applying for a Vacancy — Use One of The Following Ways:

Applications are accepted throughout the year. Student can get application through one of these ways:

      • Come to Main Office and fill in Application for Enrollment. Decision about your application could be known on the same day

      • Write to  Enrolment Office, Attention: Student Application, P.O. Box 951, Entebbe, Uganda.  Application will be sent to you immediately through post office

      • Fill in 'Application for Full-time Studies' under "Contact Us" tab above

      • Request information by clicking the "Contact Us" tab above and filling in very short form

      • Drop us an email by clicking this tab info@kmieducation.org.  Any way you use, you will receive our reply very fast.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:  International students are welcome. Please click Courses tab, "published courses catalog"  link found on the Courses tab of this Website. This will lead you to Institute Course Booklet with detailed information.

Advice on When to Submit Application for a Vacancy

Application processing takes time. You are encouraged to apply three months before the Main Admission for new students, and the same three months before the Second Admission, even if UNEB results, or relevant documents, are not yet out.

Main Admission for new students:        March is when studies begin.
Second Admission for new students:   June is the month when studies begin.

Study Days:            222 study days an academic year. Days may be increased.
School holidays:    10-21 days a quarter.
Public holidays:     Are observed.

Tuition and Fees

Two plans are offered for paying tuition:

  1. SE3 Plan that enables students to pay monthly. All dues must be paid in full within the three months of academic quarter. SE3 requires pre-approval by Institute.
  2. CashPay Plan that requires all dues to be paid before or on the first day of class. This plan is the most recommended and most used by parents and sponsors.
  3. All financial dues are paid through mobilemoney or direct to institute's bank account

  Shs.43,500.00 Identity Card Fee Student ID is valid for 3 years. Only Full-time students are eligible for ID.
  Other Course Expenses: No "hidden fees", no "building fees", no "computer use fees", no "other fees" When UNEB business exam fees are due, to be announced appropriately

Payment Method: All school tuition must be paid through mobilemoney or at bank account of the Institute. No Cash Accepted at Institute office. Exception: Application Fee paid by cash at Institute office may be accepted in very rare case-by-case basis.
